INTRODUCING THE AUSTRALIAN BULLDOG SOCIETY INC.

This Not-for-Profit Organization was started by a meeting of Foundation Membership in mid
October 2004. Listed on this site are the current Management Committee (elections held
annually at the Annual General Meeting), the Constitution of the Australian Bulldog Society

OBJECTIVES:

(as per Constitution)

1. To promote the Australian Bulldog breed.

2. To foster avenues of communication and exchange of ideas amongst
breeders and supporters of the breed within a spirit of cooperation.

3. To have an agreed Breed Standard achieved by majority vote amongst
members.

4. To have a Code of Ethics for Breeders achieved by majority vote amongst
members.

5. To provide a forum to lobby the Australian National Kennel Council for future
recognition of the breed and provision of an ANKC Developmental Register.

6. To promote the commencement of State Subcommittees once membership
numbers are such as to allow this.

THIS ORGANIZATION IS OPEN TO MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FROM ALL AUSTRALIAN /
AUSSIE BULLDOG ENTHUSIASTS WHETHER DOG OWNER OR NOT, OR - IF AN OWNER
OR BREEDER OR DOG CLUB MEMBER - NO MATTER WHAT LINES - AS LONG AS YOU ARE IN
AGREEMENT WITH THE OBJECTIVES EXPRESSED WITHIN THE CONSTITUTION.

If the future of this wonderful breed of dog is dear to your heart we would welcome your
application for membership and input as we strive to achieve our Objectives.
