To register your litters through the Australian Bulldog Society please email
registrar@australianbulldogsociety.com so the appropriate forms and details can be sent directly to
you. Please read the ABS Litter Registration Policy given below.

Given that the breeder has sent all details to the Registrar within a reasonable time-frame (allowing
about two weeks is usually fine), registration certificates should be available for the buyer when they
pick up their puppy.

Breeders registering their litter with the Australian Bulldog Society Inc. need to be members of
the ABS Inc. and a membership application form can be sent to you on request should you need
one or you can download one from this web site.

If your bitch is definitely pregnant, feel free to contact the Registrar so that any enquirers for
pups can be directed to you.  Also feel free to let your State Representative know when you have
a litter coming, so likewise they can pass on your contact details.

ABS Members can, at no cost, place 4 pup photos and their contact details on www.australianbulldogs.com.

AUSTRALIAN BULLDOG SOCIETY INC. LITTER REGISTRATION POLICY

To ensure consistency of type, to avoid inbreeding and to encourage generational breeding, the ABS
Inc. policy for registration of litters is given below. This policy supercedes any previous registration
policies and will come into effect from 1st July 2007.

1. The ABS Inc. will not register litters where the sire/dam have
the following
relationships:
(a) father/daughter (b) mother/son (c) brother/sister (d) half brother/half sister
(e) grandparent/grandchild.

2. The ABS Inc. will not register litters where a direct parent
(*see note below) is any other breed or where a direct parent* is
a straight cross of other breeds (e.g. American
Bulldog/British Bulldog or Bull mastiff/British Bulldog.

3. The ABS Inc. will register a litter whelped PRIOR to 1.9.07
where the parents are papered by another party given that is
satisfies points 1 & 2 above and the foundation lineage is noted
clearly or known to be ABS Inc. In the event that foundation
lineage is not clear or known, the onus will be on the breeder to
provide proof of the dog's background to the satisfaction
of the ABS Management Committee before any litter will be
considered for registration.

4. Any dog whelped AFTER 1.9.07 and not holding ABS
registration will not be recognized as a legitimate Aus. Bulldog.
Transfer to the ABS Register will be on a case by case basis only.

* a 'direct parent' is father or mother (sire or dam) NOT
grandparent or any earlier ancestor.
